    Teaching courses at Centralia College:
Mitchel Townsend is a professor at Centralia College and Lower Columbia College. He has a master’s degree from Pepperdine University and has completed doctoral studies at the University of Calgary in Alberta.• He has taught Bigfoot courses at Centralia College for two years.• His first course, “CSI Bigfoot, Legend Meets Sasquatch,” was based on the work of Geoff Meldrum, from Idaho State University’s Department of Biological Sciences and received national attention.• His current course, “Bigfoot Solved, Proving the Legal and Scientific Case for the Addition of a New Great Apes Species in the Pacific Northwest,” is currently ongoing at Centralia College. The course combines his original research and features his newest discoveries.******Jeff Meldrum**********
Full Professor of Anatomy and Anthropology and a Professor of the Department of Anthropology at Idaho State University. Meldrum is also Adjunct Professor of Occupational and Physical Therapy.
Meldrum is an expert on foot morphology and locomotion in primates. Idaho State University professor Jeff Meldrum began an experimental course titled The Relict Hominoid Inquiry. Part of that inquiry addressing scientific theories on Bigfoot, alongside other links in the human evolutionary chain. published a peer-reviewed online journal titled “Relic Hominoid Inquiry,” Idaho State University:
Austin is the department chairman who approved the course. He was careful to note that the course was approved on its academic merits, not because of its connection to a sensational topic.
“We are going to allow it,” Austin said. “There is an issue of academic freedom that we want to uphold at the university.”*******Dr. Grover S. Krantz****************************************
Dr. Grover S. Krantz was born in 1931 in Salt Lake City. He obtained an M.A. in anthropology from the University of California–Berkely and his doctorate from the University of Minnesota. He was a beloved professor at Washington State University (WSU) for some 30 years until his retirement in 1998.*******Dr. Jane Goodall********************************************
Arguably the world’s most famous primatologist, Jane Goodall has expressed her belief in Bigfoot. She is widely recognized for her groundbreaking discoveries related to the behavior of chimpanzees. She initially faced hostilities from established scientists even regarding her chimpanzee research, which has now been embraced by the scientific community at large.

Regarding Bigfoot, “I’ve talked to so many native Americans who all describe the same sounds, two who have seen them,” she said during an interview with National Public Radio’s Ira Flatow on Friday, Sept. 27, 2002. With a keen interest in the topic, she has read much about it. Goodall said the accounts from all over the world of similar such creatures lead her to believe that Bigfoot’s possible existence should be taken seriously.

She admitted in 2012 to the Huffington Post that no “smoking gun” has been found—no indisputable Bigfoot body—but, “I’m not going to flat-out deny its existence.”
“I’m fascinated and would actually love them to exist.”

    ******Dr. Samuel Sentell*********************************************
Dr. Samuel Sentell has a private practice in neuropsychology in Louisiana. He holds Ph.D. degrees in medical science and psychology from Vanderbilt University. He is interested in studying Bigfoot from both a biological and a psychological perspective.

He wrote in a post on the Society for Scientific Exploration website in 2012: “Bigfoot/Sasquatch continues to be an area of great interest in our culture while science steadfastly resists examination of the anecdotal data in any comprehensive way. … Bigfoot phenomena are sometimes hoaxed but hoaxing can be studied within social psychology. Nevertheless, Bigfoot phenomena are not all hoaxes. Bigfoot is also an archetype of the human collective unconscious and can be studied within psychoanalytic, neuroethological and phenomenological disciplines.”

“Bigfoot is also an archetype of the human collective unconscious.”
    — Dr. Samuel Sentell
Dr. Sentell said he has personally “found anomalous scat and hair as well as other anecdotal evidence supporting the possibility of Sasquatch.”

    ******Dr. John Bindernagel********************************************
John Bindernagel, B.S.A., M.S., Ph.D., is a Canadian wildlife biologist. He has posted a photo of himself with Jane Goodall alongside his autobiographical snippet on his website. Goodall is holding up the cast of an alleged Bigfoot print Dr. Bindernagel said he found in British Columbia, Canada, where he began conducting field research in 1975.

“[I] am much more concerned with addressing ecological questions such as how it overwinters in the colder regions of North America, than with dwelling on the controversy of whether it does or does not exist.”
    — Dr. John Bindernagel
He wrote on his website: “Wildlife biologists such as myself regularly depend on tracks and other wildlife sign as evidence for the presence of bears, deer, wolves, and other mammals, recognizing that tracks constitute a more reliable and persistent record of the presence of a mammal species in an area than a fleeting glimpse of the animal itself. I am satisfied that the Sasquatch is an extant (or ‘real’) animal, subject to study and examination like any other large mammal, and am much more concerned with addressing ecological questions such as how it overwinters in the colder regions of North America, than with dwelling on the controversy of whether it does or does not exist.”

    ******Dr. Esteban Sarmiento********************************************
Esteban Sarmiento, Ph.D., is a biologist and primatologist who has worked as a functional anatomist at the American Museum of Natural History. While he does not claim that Bigfoot exists, he admits the possibility that it does and encourages careful scrutiny of evidence.

He attended the annual Texas Bigfoot Conference in 2009 and commented on a purported video clip of a Bigfoot in northern California—the so-called “Patterson-Gimlin film” shot in 1967. He said, according to BigfootEncounters.com: “If it’s real, this animal is exceedingly human-like.” He said the “Bigfoot” movements shown in the film do not resemble those of great apes.

    ******Dr. LeRoy Fish***************************************************
Dr. LeRoy Fish (1943–2002) received his doctorate in zoology and ecology from Washington State University. As a retired wildlife ecologist, he dedicated much effort as a consultant to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.

  3. Scientist Announce Support for the Ketchum DNA Study:   Dr. Swenson********************************************** David H. Swenson, Ph.D. – Biochemist with over 39 journal publications to his credit. (Click here to read his resume)
    Below is his statement:
David H. SwensonBrien Foerster, Jeff Kart, and other interested parties. I went over the manuscript by Melba Ketchum on Bigfoot genomics. My desktop had difficulty with a blast analysis of the consensus sequences. It helped me understand more about the project. This collaborative venture has done a huge project that taxes me to fully grasp. I see interesting homology with a standard human sequence with 99% match for mitochondria. From my abbreviated study, the nuclear genome seems to have human and nonhuman sequences. My opinion of the creature is that it is a hybrid of a human mother and an unknown hominid male, Just as reported. For all practical purposes, it should be treated as human and protected under law.Brien, selection of Melba’s lab for your studies is a very good call.Sasquatch is real, as proven by genetic analysis.******Dr. Hascall Hart****************************************

    Dr. Harts Statement:
    1. The mtDNA of 29 samples is essentially human.
    2. The nDNA of three samples (26, 31,and 140) has homology to human nDNA on chromosome 11, but is not entirely human.
    3. The nDNA of three samples(26, 31, and 140) is not related to black bear, raccoon or opossum.”

******T. Joy Clay Chrisman, Ph.D., PMP************************

    Dr. Chrismans Statement:

I fully support Dr. Ketchum and her research and appreciate having the research and data. I make a point of stating the scientific methodology was very sound and all necessary precautions were taken

  1. I have a lease with the National Forest Service, My house belongs to me, but the land surrounding my house does not belong to me, but to the Federal Government. It is very secluded. I have lived in this house for 19 years, and in this region for 39 years.
Since this past June (2019) several Sasquatches have not only taken up residence literally in my front and back yards, but (this is the interesting part) they quit trying to hide their presence.
I have fingerprints, casts of footprints, photos, scat samples and eye witnesses.
They have stripped bark off trees, bent “X’s” with saplings, and slash piles, moved and arranged rocks, and huge boulders, pushed trees over and built “teepees” as well as what looks like “machine gun nests” all around my house. They have been it seems, moving their territory further down the mountain on a daily basis.
It seems to me that this would be an ideal opportunity for researchers to study the Sasquatches culture, habbits and other aspects of these beings.
My concerns are the safety and protection of the Sasquatches, the protection of my privacy and gaining the knowledge of how both our species can co-exist peacefully on our planet.
I have recently learned that the forest service intends to open a public hiking trail that begins about 500 feet from my house, utilizing the parking area I currently use for my private vehicles as the only designated parking available for hikers.
I don’t know when they plan to begin work on the trail, but I am really worried for the Sasquatches and for the hikers. I just know some stupid hiker’s going to run into an unsuspecting Sasquatch and react inappropriately. And/ or tell everyone that will listen. Inevitably, someone’s going to come up here with intentions of killing or capturing one. It’s bad news all around, and it makes no sense for me to contact either Game & Fish, or the National Forest. For one thing, I expect they will be skeptical, secondly, they have no funds to investigate. since in their eyes, the species does not exsist.
I made the mistake of seeking help from the BFRO. I contacted them over a month ago only to be put off and finally told that they couldn’t come to New Mexico because they are going to be shooting a “sizzler” for a new “finding bigfoot” TV series. Needless to say I am not only upset that they put piority in a capital venture rather than research, but they strung me along for so long.
Can you help? I don’t know who to turn to or what to do. Just today, something or someone blocked a foot trail not far from here by uprooting a live tree and dropping it across the path.
I feel it is essential to keep this information from the public for fear of being bombarded by “looky-loos”, hunters of bigfoot and mostly the press.
Please point me in the right direction. Any advice would be wholly appreciated.
    Most sincerely.
    R. D.
